A former employee of the Tilted Kilt in Milford is accused of stealing more than $2,000 from the company.
Police started investigating on Sept. 11 after an employee theft was reported at Tilted Kilt, 290 Old Gate Lane in Milford, and authorities charged Daniel Marcucio, 30, of Seymour, on Friday.
Marcucio, a former employee, is accused of conducting several unauthorized business transactions totaling $2,012.75 between June and September, according to a news release from police.
He was arrested on Friday, charged with third-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear. He is due in court on Dec. 2.
NBC Connecticut left a message at the phone number listed with Marcucio’s address, but there was no answer. It’s not clear if he has an attorney.
