A Fairfield police sergeant is recovering this morning after being injured in a car crash on Interstate 95.
According to the Connecticut Post, Sgt. Edward Weihe was on his way to a domestic violence call when he lost control of his cruiser around 8 p.m. on the southbound side of the highway near exit 22 and collided with another car.
A Meriden woman driving a Hyundai also lost control and spun into the barrier, the Post reports.
