Name of Man Who Fell from Scaffolding Released

Crews are responding to 36 Hempstead St. New London.

A 46-year-old Taftville man is in Yale-New Haven Hospital after falling about 45 feet from scaffolding at a home in New London on Monday.
Nate Sutera was working on a ladder on top of scaffolding at 36 Hempstead St. on Monday when he fell.
Medics from the New London Fire Department treated Sutera and transported him to a local hospital for his injures.
Life Star medical helicopter then transported Sutera to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
New London Police officers conducted the initial investigation into the fall and have referred the case to the United States Occupational Safety & Health Administration.
