Sunday was a day of Halloween fun in New Haven as the Shubert Theatre hosted its annual family fun day.
With Halloween just around the corner, kids got all dressed in their best costumes to go trick or treating at the theatre.
There was also holiday arts and crafts projects and short films for the kids to enjoy.
"It's fantastic, we love having them here and the best part is it's everybody from everywhere. It's all kinds of people from all neighborhoods, it's really great," Shubert Theatre Director of Education and Outreach Kelly Wuzzardo said.
The day also marked the start of the Shubert's annual holiday food and toy drive. It runs at the theatre through Dec. 22. All donations go to those in need in the community.
