A man is dead after an overdose Saturday evening in New London.
According to police, Evan Hill, 56, was found unconscious and not breathing at a home on Maple Ave. around 7 p.m. Saturday.
Hill was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities used Narcan to try and save is life and preliminary tests indicated the presence of heroin.
Narcan is used in overdoses of heroin and prescription pills.
