Stabbing At House Party Leaves One Dead

A house party in Hartford turned deadly Friday night after at least two people were stabbed, one fatally.

Police said this happened outside a home at 366 Maple Ave. around 11:44 p.m. Friday night.

According to police, a fight broke out at a house party and escalated when a group of about 20 people started fighting outside in the street. That's where police said the first victim was found unresponsive. The victim was later pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital.

Police said the second victim walked into Hartford Hospital on their own with stab wounds and is listed in critical condition.

Police have not said if they've made any arrests in the case and the names of the victims have not been released.
