Flames tore through a livestock barn in the Broad Brook section of East Windsor on Wednesday, drawing a massive response from fire departments in neighboring towns.
Emergency dispatchers said flames were reported around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday on Niederwerfer Road near the intersection of Rockville Road.
According to Tolland public safety officials, multiple alarms were struck. Footage from the scene shows smoke rising into the air, and only a skeleton of the structure remains.
Two East Windsor fire companies are responding, along with mutual aid from South Windsor, Ellington, Vernon Tolland, according to East Windsor police.
Rockville Road is closed at Barber Road and East Road
It's not clear if any people or animals were hurt.
