Fire officials responded to a house fire on Great Harbor Road near Shell Beach in Guilford Sunday night.
Guilford police and the Madison Fire Department provided mutual aid and the Branford Fire Department fire boat was also on scene helping with water supply issues.
The house is a total loss, according to a local firefighter. No one was home when the fire broke out. Neighbors saw the flames and called 911.
No one was injured.
