Flames tore through a home in East Hampton Sunday evening, leaving it a total loss.
The fire broke out just before 7:30 p.m., at 1 Young Street.
According to a fire official at the scene, the homeowner made it out of the house safely.
Mutual aid from five surrounding towns responded, including Colchester, Marlborough, and Portland.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
