A fire that started in the recycling process area of the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority,  at 211 Murphy Road in Hartford, is now out.

Firefighters evacuated about 45 workers on Tuesday morning and there are no reports of injuries.

The CRRA includes trash-to-energy facilities, where garbage is burned and the heat is used to boil water to create steam.

It also has a single-stream ecycling center and runs the trash museum.
