Firefighters are responding to a fire in Bridgeport.

Firefighters are responding to a fire with possible gas leak at 876 Merritt St. in Bridgeport.
Dispatchers said there is some damage to the back part of the structure, but how much is not known, according to the mayor’s office.
According to dispatcher, the fire department has the incident under control at this time.
The house is a single-family residence that is heated with gas, according to assessing records.
No injuries are reported.
