Firefighters Battled Blaze at Ansonia Factory

Firefighters spent hours battling a fire at a factory in Ansonia.

The three-alarm fire was at the Farrel Corp. factory at 25 Main Street, according to fire officials.

Firefighters had to run hoses across railroad tracks, affecting trains on Metro North's Waterbury Branch, according to a Metro North spokesperson.

There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
