Guilford firefighters rescued a female hiker who fell off a cliff on trails near Route 77 and she was transported by LifeStar to Yale-New Haven Hospital with extensive injuries.
A rope rescue team responded and rescued her from the mountain where she was stuck. The fire department responded after getting a call at 12:07 p.m. reporting someone screaming for help.
There is no further information on the nature of her injuries and her condition.
