It was bad enough when the man’s car got stuck in heavy snow on Westfield Street in Middletown around 3 a.m. on Wednesday, but then someone robbed him.
The victim told police that his vehicle was stuck in the storm when he heard a knock on his window.
His windows were partially covered in snow, so he opened the door and a masked man stuck a gun in his neck and demanded money and valuables, the Middletown Press reports.
Police followed a fresh set of snowy tracks to a running vehicle. Inside, they said, were two men smoking marijuana and some of the victim's valuables.
Mentor Berisha, 19, was charged with first-degree robbery, third-degree larceny and carrying or sale of a dangerous weapon.
Bond was set at $50,000.
