Some airplane passengers from Philly who thought they would be in Stockholm for the weekend made a surprise stop in Connecticut.

The plane was about 25 minutes into the flight when alarms signaled smoke in the cockpit and the crew declared an emergency, the Aviation Herald reports. The US Airways flight made an emergency landing at Bradley International Airport on Thursday night, police and airline officials said.

No one was hurt, but they were likely exhausted.

US Airways sent a Boeing 767 to Bradley to replace the 757 around 2 a.m., the Hartford Courant reports. Passengers were transferred and it took off at 3:18 a.m. US Airways spokeswoman Liz Landau told the Courant said it arrived in Stockholm late this morning.
