Flooding Closes I-95 in Norwalk

Several cars became stuck in flood waters on I-95 in Norwalk Tuesday night.

Interstate 95 was shut down in Norwalk due to flooding Tuesday night.

In Norwalk, the southbound side of I-95 was closed due to flooding between Exits 16 and 17. That is by the East Avenue exit. Video from DOT cameras showed several cars stuck in the high water. The right and center lanes of the northbound side of the highway in the same area were closed because of the flooding.
