The family of a Hartford woman who was brutally killed by her jealous boyfriend is getting justice. Willie James Coleman, 56, has been  sentenced to 45 years behind bars for the crime.

Coleman used a fork and a knife to kill Twonna White, 44, in July 2008.

The details of the grime are grisly. Prosecutors say Coleman stabbed White in the back and head with the fork, then plunged the knife through her heart.

Coleman's lawyer said the entire argument stemmed from jealousy. That he was angry that White was taunting him about having been with other men in his apartment.  The couple lived together at the time.

In 1993, Coleman was convicted of manslaughter for shooting to death a friend he accused of seeing his girlfriend.

Coleman was sentenced to only two years probation because witnesses at his trial gave different accounts of the shooting.
