Free Jewelry for Valentine's Day -- Really!

Been laid off? Lost your home to foreclosure? There may be a silver lining. You could be eligible for some free jewelry.
Beginning Wednesday, DeRobertis Jewelers of West Hartford will give away 100 necklaces to people who have lost their jobs or lost their homes.
Owner Gene DeRobertis says he owes the community a lot for allowing them to stay in business for the last four decades, so he wants to give something back in these difficult economic times.
The necklaces are sterling silver, and range in value from $50 to $99 each.
To get your free necklace, show up at DeRobertis Jewelers at 52 LaSalle Rd. in West Hartford Wednesday with your termination or foreclosure notice, and personal identification, such as a driver's license. The first 100 people who qualify will get the necklaces.
