Woman Charged With Crashing in Hartford Store and Fleeing

Hartford police have arrested a local woman who's accused of crashing into the front of the Boost Mobile on Albany Avenue and leaving the scene.

Police arrested Dawn Davis, 52, of Hartford, after finding her at her Mahl home. She was charged with evading responsibility, operating without a license, third-degree criminal mischief and reckless endangerment.

Police tape was up at the store this morning, keeping people away from the shattered glass and smashed store front.

While the front wall was badly damaged in the crash, officials found the building was structurally sound, according to Hartford police, who also said no one was injured.
