Murder victim from Sunday's deadly shooting in Norwich has been identified as New London resident Donna Richardson. Now her boyfriend is speaking out and wants justice for his lost love.
The funeral for a woman killed during a shooting at a restaurant in Norwich will be held on Monday.
Donna Richardson, 45, of New London, was killed in a shooting at the Mai Thai Restaurant on June 24.
According to the Norwich Police Department the investigation indicates that Richardson was not the intended target.
As Norwich police search for the gunman involved in the fatal shooting, Richardson’s fiance and boyfriend of 10 years is asking for the public’s help to bring the killer to justice.
“She didn’t deserve to get what she got,” Steven Roderick said. “Her life got taken for no reason at all. All she liked to do was go out and have a good time, that’s all she ever wanted to do,” Roderick said.
Roderick described Richardson as a happy, generous, positive person, who loved and celebrated life. She was at a graduation party when she was shot, he said.
