Police have captured the man accused of robbing a gas station in Southington and have taken him to the hospital for a medical evaluation.
Travis Gornto, who has also been linked to an incident in Bristol this morning, is accused of stealing from the Sunoco Gas Station at 957 West Street in Southington around 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Police said he did not show a weapon but implied that he had one.
Gornto got away with an unknown amount of money. Police said he was spotted driving in New Haven and was taken into custody in Derby. Gornto is currently at the hospital undergoing a medical evaluation and has not been formally charged.
Police said the arrest warrant for Gornto is sealed and the investigation is ongoing.
The details of the Bristol incident are unclear.
