A special education school at the University of Saint Joseph on Asylum Avenue in West Hartford is being evacuated after a construction crew hit a large gas main.

A special education school at the University of Saint Joseph on Asylum Avenue in West Hartford is being evacuated after a construction crew hit a large gas main.

The school, the Gengras Center, is a private special education school for elementary, middle and high school students with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and related behavioral challenges, according to its web site.
