Want to get to the game but can't stand the traffic?  Now you can take the train!

Metro-North started its direct service to the Meadowlands Sports Complex Sunday for the Jets game.

Three trains left New Haven between 8:00 and 9:50 a.m. Sunday, making stops at all other major New Haven line stations before going into Penn Station, and then onto New Jersey.

Three returning trains after the game start running at 4:03 p.m.

Tickets costs the same as an off-peak round-trip ticket from New York, plus the $7.75 round-trip fare from Penn Station to the Meadowlands.
