Glastonbury Police Arrest Suspect in Armed Robbery at Nail Salon

Glastonbury police have arrested a man in connection with a robbery at a local nail salon back in August.

Joshua Echevarria, 27, of East Hartford, faces charges of first-degree robbery, first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree larceny, and second-degree threatening.

Police allege that Echevarria was one of two masked suspects that entered the nail salon on August 5 with a knife and a baseball bat and stole money and electronics from employees and customers before leaving in the salon owner’s vehicle.

The vehicle was later found in Wethersfield.

Echevarria was arrested on warrant Monday morning at his home. He was held on a $375,000 bond and is expected in court later Monday.

Police said more arrests are expected.
