A husband and wife were robbed at gunpoint as they were walking in New Haven around 10 a.m. on Wednesday and police said the robber pointed a revolver at the woman’s head.
Police said the robber happened in the 400 block of Mansfield Street. The husband handed over his valuables including his wallet, iPhone and house keys, police said, and the robber left without injuring the couple.
The robber is described as being in his mid-20s. He is thin, has a thin beard and is about 6-feet tall. He was wearing a dark knit cap, a red striped jacket and jeans.
Police said their might have also been a getaway driver, described as a woman seen parked nearby in a gray car.
