The Hartford Distributor shooter sold two kegs and several cases of stolen beer to a woman, according to court records.

Minutes before Omar Thornton went on a shooting rampage on Aug. 3, killing eight coworkers, and injuring two more, he was shown video of himself stealing beer and asked to resign.

Police said Thornton sold the beer to Christy Quail, 33, of Enfield. She was arrested three days after the shootings and charged with receiving stolen property from Thornton.

An affidavit, first obtained by The Journal Inquirer, said Quail is the wife of a former employee at Hartford Distributors who knew Thornton. Her husband has not been charged.

Authorities said they have video recordings of Thornton loading two kegs one day and five cases of beer another day into Quail's car.

Quail did not immediately return a call to the Associated Press for comment Thursday.

Thorton fatally shot himself after killing his coworkers.
