Due to the high heat and humidity, the City of Hartford is issuing a health advisory and has opened cooling centers for Monday and Tuesday.
- Parker Memorial Community Center, 2621 No. Main St., is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Pope Park Recreation Center, 30 Pope Drive, is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Metzner Center, 680 Franklin Ave., is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- North End Senior Center, 80 Coventry St., is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- South End Senior Wellness Center, 830 Maple Ave., is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Parkville Senior Center, 11 New Park Ave., is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Hispanic Senior Center, 45 Wadsworth St., is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Hispanic Health Council, 175 Main St. is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
