Hartford Police Investigate Crash, Streets Closed

Police advise drivers to stay away from the scene of a crash.

A pedestrian has been taken to a local hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Hartford on Thursday afternoon and police are advising drivers to stay away from the area.

The pedestrian was struck at Bond Street and Wethersfield Avenue around 2:30 p.m., Hartford police said.

Police advise drivers to stay away from in the areas of Franklin Avenue and Bond Street, and Wethersfield Avenue at Bond Street if possible.
