16-Year-Old Boy Shot for Second Time: Police

A 16-year-old boy who was shot last year and arrested on gun charges last month was shot again in Hartford on Sunday evening, according to police.

Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley said the teen was shot in the elbow near the intersection of Martin and Judson streets around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday and someone drove him to St. Francis Hospital in a private vehicle.

His injuries appear not to be life-threatening.

Police said the same 16-year-old was shot in the chest last year and arrested on gun charges last month. His name has not been released.
