Harvard Group Skewers Yale Over Glenn Beck Past

When you think about the long-time rivalry between Yale and Harvard, the last person you might think of is Glenn Beck.  But the controversial conservative talk show host has become the latest weapon in the Ivy League war of words between the two schools.

The Harvard College Democrats are using Beck's image on a new T-shirt to remind Yale about one of its own.

The pink shirt says "Glenn Beck got one thing right....he dropped out of Yale".

The political pundit attended Yale for one semester in 1996 as a non-degree special student. He took classes while working as a radio host on Hamden-based KC101.

The Harvard Dems don't leave the digs at Yalies to the shirt slogan alone. Their website urges fellow students "Don't let Yalies forget who their most famous dropout is," while asking them to buy the $10 shirt.

The jabs don't stop there. "While the midterm elections might have been bad for Harvard progressives, at least we can take solace in the fact that our school's dropouts are busy founding Facebook and revolutionizing the computer industry, not spouting outrageous Republican lies and faux-crying on national television," the website reads.

The group has sold shirts featuring former President George W. Bush and Sarah Palin in the past.

The Beck shirts were put on sale just prior to "The Game", the football match-up between the two schools at Harvard Saturday.
