A Connecticut teen is fighting to stay alive after being pulled out of a pond in Hebron, where he was in the water for three hours.

The 19-year-old went underwater at Gay City State Park around 6 p.m. on Sunday night while swimming in the pond, police said.

When he did not surface from the water, his friends and family called 911.

The teen was taken to a local hospital and remains in critical condition on Monday morning.
