Police are investigating a home invasion in Hampton.

Police are investigating a home invasion on Bigelow Road in Hampton on Thursday morning.

Two men forced their way into the home, assaulted and tied up the homeowner,  ransacked the house and stole a television and other items, police said.

Police are looking for a four-door purple Taurus.

The victim was not hurt. He was able to free himself and call police. The call came in at 10:05 a.m.

One man is medium-build, around 6-feet-1, and has a mustache. He was wearing gray sweatpants. The other man is 5-feet-9 and also has short hair and a medium-build. He was wearing black thick-rimmed glasses and jeans, according to police.
