Fire broke out at a house on Highland Avenue in West Haven and is now out.
Fire was reported at 253 Highland Ave. at 9:47 a.m. and flames were shooting from the roof when firefighters arrived, but they put he flames out by 10:05 a.m.
One person was home when the fire started and got out. No one was hurt, officials said.
No additional information was immediately available.
