A 24-year-old woman was abducted at gunpoint in Windsor, Connecticut early this morning and found in Springfield, Massachusetts. As the investigation continues, police are searching for at least one of the men who drove her over the state line in a stolen car.
A friend of the victim called Windsor police at 2:20 a.m. to report that two men took the woman against her will from a home on Maple Avenue and left in a vehicle with Massachusetts plates.
Windsor police alerted other departments to be on the lookout for a silver Subaru and Connecticut state police chased the vehicle north onto Interstate 91 into Springfield, Massachusetts around 2:45 a.m., according to police.
The driver of a stolen car threw a male and female from the car on the Memorial Bridge, according to police, and they believe a gun was thrown from the car in the same area.
Investigators said they believe the woman knew one of the men.
The driver continued to evade police, crashed near East Columbus Avenue and Emery Street and ran from the scene, police said.
Police were able to find the victim, who sustained a minor injury, according to Windsor police.

"We were able to locate the victim shortly after and she is OK -- suffered some minor injuries. And we are in the process of interviewing her, trying to determine the identity of the suspects, locations and things like that,” Capt. Tom LePore, of the Windsor Police Department, said.
Police have not yet found the driver, but they did find the male passenger, who was arrested on a default warrant.
