Javier in the Finals

Stratford-born musician Javier Colon is moving on to the finals!

On Wednesday night the hometown favorite got a big vote of confidence from his coach Adam Levine, of Maroon 5, and the country.

Levine gave Javier a running start, awarding him 65 points over his teammate, Casey Weston's 35.  America's votes did the rest and Javier walked into the finals with a final score of 138.

Javier now joins 3 others for a chance to become "the Voice."

Javier got emotional during the results show when host, Carson Daly, asked him about his family.

"I feel truly blessed.  I'm thankful, thankful to be here on the stage," said Javier through his tears.

Javier's version of "Fix You" by Coldplay hit #7 on the I-tunes list Wednesday.  So far, it's the only "Voice" song to crack the top 10.

Javier will now compete against Vicci Martinez, Dia Frampton and Beverly McClellan next Tuesday at 9 p.m. on NBC Connecticut.
