Some Le Slaying Documents Could Be Released, Kinda

A judge will decide on Friday whether to release court documents in the Annie Le slaying.
What’s in the arrest warrant police obtained for Raymond Clark III has been a mystery since he was arrested in September, charged in the slaying of Yale graduate student Anne Le -- and a mystery it may remain for at least another 72 hours.
The documents have been sealed since Clark, a former Yale University employee accused of killing Le and leaving her body in a wall, was arrested in September. A judge Friday decided that the documents would remain under seal for 3 days, giving anyone a chance to petition the Appellate Court for review.
The prosecutors, defense and Le’s family all want the documents to remain sealed. Prosecutors said they want the documents sealed, citing the privacy rights of Le's family and the need to ensure an impartial jury.
But several news organizations have asked New Haven Superior Court Judge Roland Fasano to unseal the documents.
Clark worked as a lab technician in the Yale medical research building where Le's body was found on Sept. 13, which was supposed to be her wedding day. She has disappeared five days earlier.
Clark, who has been charged with murder, has not yet entered a plea and is next due in court on Dec. 21.
