A man charged in the beating deaths of his mother and two house guests in 2010 has been found guilty on all charges, according to the clerk's office at Hartford Superior Court.
Deliberations began on Wednesday in Hartford Superior Court in the case of Brett Bednarz, whose first trial ended in a hung jury last May.
He had pleaded not guilty to three counts of murder and one county of violating a restraining order.
Police found the bludgeoned bodies of Bednarz's mother, 74-year-old Beverly Therrien, and the two guests -- 53-year-old Michael Ramsey and his fiancee, 60-year-old Pamela Johns -- in Therrien's East Hartford home on Thanksgiving Day 2010.
Prosecutor David Zagaja said Bednarz hated his mother and killed the victims in a fit of rage.
Defense testimony suggested two unknown men seen at Therrien's house the night before the bodies were found might have been involved in the killings.
