13-Year-Old is Restrained in Home Invasion: Cops

Bristol police are investigating a disturbing home invasion involving juveniles who are accused of restraining a teen.

At 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, five juveniles forced their way into a South Street Extension home and assaulted a 13-year-old resident, Bristol police said.

They restrained the teen, ransacked the home and stole items, police said.

The victim was able to identify one suspect. Police investigated and made two juvenile court referrals.

The juveniles were charged with home invasion, second-degree burglary, second-degree robbery, fifth-degree larceny, unlawful restraint, risk of injury to a Minor and third-degree assault.

Bristol police continue to investigate.
