A fight at a Milford house party left one person dead and several others injured.

Police were called to 477 Woodland Drive around 4:00 a.m. Sunday where they found several people suffering from stab wounds after a fight.

Two of the victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  A third victim died of his injuries.

Police learned two people involved in the stabbing had fled the scene by car .   Police spotted the car a short distance away and attempted to pull it over.  The driver refused to stop and led police on a pursuit on Interstate 95 into New Haven.

Stop sticks were deployed bringing the vehicle to a stop in New Haven.  The operator fled on foot before being apprehended by police K9 units.

The operator was taken to the hospital for treatment, and a second suspect that was inside the vehicle is being interviewed by police.

Milford Police are continuing their investigation.  The names of the victims or suspects have not been released yet.
