A leaky roof closes the Forestville Post Office in Bristol.

The United States Postal Service will deliver mail in rain or snow, just not from the Forestville Post Office. A leaky roof has forced the USPS to close the post office and move all business to the main post office in Bristol.

Other businesses in the same strip mall as the post office have been effected too. "Peter Fredrick's Salon" closed it's doors Wednesday morning after the owner found a watery mess inside.

"The tile disintegrated and had fallen to the ground and landed on top of the station." explained owner Peter Geslein. "Water inside the fixtures was trickling down. It was water all over the place."

There was water inside "Ali's Pizza House" too. The owner Ali Aslan says his water problems aren't as severe as the post office and the salon. He did say he will lose business with less people from the post office stopping in for a slice.

"What are you going to do?" asked Aslan. "You can't do anything right now."

The business owners aren't blaming the landlord for the roof problems. They say the roofers didn't repair it well.

Until the leaky roof is fixed the post office will move their business to the main post office in Bristol located at 151 North Main Street.
