A 22-year-old man was badly injured on Wednesday night when his scooter and a car collided on South Street in Willimantic.
Police said they were alerted about the crash around 6:45 p.m. and an ambulance brought the scooter driver to the Windham Hospital Emergency Room. LifeStar then flew him to Hartford Hospital. Police have not released the man's name.
The other driver was not hurt and no charges have been filed.
Police continue to investigate.
