A 55-year-old Harwinton man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Friday morning.
Police said James Chasse was driving his 2005 Kawasaki ZR750 east on Lead Mine Brook Road at 6:15 a.m. when he lost control of the bike at Lenor Road and hit a tree, according to state police.
An ambulance transported him to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital and Chasse was pronounced dead at approximately 6:46 a.m., police said.
Police are investigating and ask anyone with information to call the Harwinton Resident Trooper, at 860-485-1421.
