Lucky for Life Winner Yet to Claim Prize

The person who won the Lucky for Life $1,000-per-day-for-life jackpot in Connecticut last week has yet to come forward.

The person who won the jackpot on May 3 bought the ticket somewhere in Fairfield County, according to the state lottery. The winning numbers are 3-8-12-29-37 with a Lucky Ball number of 17.

If you bought a ticket, check it. Winners are encouraged to sign winning tickets immediately to establish ownership. 

The winner will collect $7,000 every week (pre-taxes) from the CT Lottery. The net value of the prize at this time is $3,781 (post-taxes) per week.

Lucky for Life began on March 11, 2012, and is the first "New England Only" lottery game.   Tickets and prizes expire 180 days from the date of draw. 

Tickets are $2 each and can be purchased at lottery retailers in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Drawings are held at 10:38 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays.
