Connecticut State Police have arrested a man accused of firing a gun out of a sunroof while driving on I-91 in Hartford in October.
Police said 22-year-old Miguel Rivera fired at least one shot out of the sunroof of his Ford Taurus while driving on I-91 south near exit 27 on October 24.
A witness called 911 to report the incident, and police tracked the vehicle to Rivera. When investigators searched the vehicle they found ammunition in the car and a spent shell casing in the sunroof compartment.
Rivera was arrested Saturday and charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm, breach of peace, and reckless endangerment. He was issued a $150,000 bond and is due in court Monday.
