Man Accused of Threatening Woman With Saw

Scott Ferguson is accused of threatening his girlfriend with a circular saw and smashing the windows on her car with a wood splitting maul.

A 49-year-old Glastonbury man has been arrested, accused of threatening his girlfriend with a circular saw and smashing the windows on her car with a wood splitting maul.

Police said they responded to Scott Ferguson’s Naubuc Avenue residence just after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday after receiving a report that a man was becoming violent with a female.

Ferguson, 49, was charged with first-degree criminal attempt at assault, second-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, second-degree threatening and reckless endangerment.

His bond was set at $100,000.
