Man Arrested in Connection to Plainfield Robbery

Police said 54-year-old Keith Laubenheimer, of Colchester, entered the store through an unsecured window

A man was arrested Sunday after robbing an auto store in Plainfield in October.

The incident took place at Minor's Auto on Norwich Road at approximately 7 a.m.

Police said 54-year-old Keith Laubenheimer, of Colchester, entered the store through a unsecured window.

A cash register was broken into and police found a Walmart receipt from the early morning hours at the scene.

Laubenheimer faces charges including third degree burglary, fourth degree larceny and third degree criminal mischief.

Laubenheimer was held on a $50,000 bond and will be arraigned on Nov. 12.

The case remains under active and more arrests are expected, according to police.
