Police Search for Suspect Who Assaulted Man in East Hartford

East Hartford police are investigating after a man was attacked Saturday afternoon.

The incident happened near Woodlawn Circle and Harmony Streets, police said.

According to authorities, the victim was taken to a nearby hospital for facial i injuries.

Investigators are now looking into whether the incident is related to a shots fired call earlier in the day.
