Norwalk police arrested a 21-year-old man who is accused of biting a girl’s ankle during an argument over his drinking.

Police went to Walter Avenue in Norwalk on Saturday to investigate a family disturbance call after Michael Maiorino, 21, of Norwalk, and a girl got into an argument, police said.

When the girl went to leave, Maiorino punched the navigation system in her car, police said.

This was the second violent act in two days, police said.

On Friday, the girl and Maiorino had gotten into an argument over Maiorino’s alcohol consumption, police said. When the girl tried to leave the home, Maiorino bit her ankle, police said.

Maiorino was charged with disorderly conduct for the Saturday incident and third-degree assault for the ankle biting incident.
