Man Steals From Middletown Home, Pushes Resident: Cops

Police are searching for the man who broke into a Middletown home Monday afternoon and stole a TV, then went back in a second time and pushed a female resident who confronted him.

According to police, the intruder entered a home on Grand Street around 12:45 p.m. Monday. He toook a TV while a woman was home, loaded it into his pink-striped sedan, then went back into the house.

Police said the resident heard a noise and confronted the man, wo pushed her and took off in his car.

The suspect is described as a muscular, light-skinned black man in his 20s with brown hair in braids parted down the middle. Police said he stands 6 feet tall and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt at the time of the burglary.

He got away in a black four-door sedan with tinted windows and a pink stripe down the side. Police said the car is possibly a Nissan or Toyota.
