Man Fatally Shot in Hartford

Hartford Police investigate the city's third homicide in a week.

A man was found fatally shot behind a Hartford apartment building Saturday, police said.

Police responded to a report of a person shot in the area of 594 Wethersfield Avenue at 1:17 a.m. Saturday. 

A male victim was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are not releasing the identity of the victim pending notification of next of kin.  No arrests have been made.

On Wednesday morning, Jermaine Huguley was shot and killed in front of his residence at 180 Nelson Street.  Huguley was pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital. 

Edward "Duey" Haslam of Windsor was killed in a robbery last Saturday in a parking lot in the city's North End.  Haslam had just left the Vibz nightclub on Main Street.  Police are searching for two suspects.  

No arrests have been made in any of the cases.
